The “Jack the Ripper” Movies

fictional films and television shows about the Whitechapel Murders

Jack The Ripper played by Klaus Kinsky, 1976
"Jack The Ripper" played by Klaus Kinsky, 1976

This list of “Jack the Ripper” Movies is split into two sections: 1 - fictionalised Film and TV movie accounts of the Whitechapel Murders in context HERE and 2 - fictionalised film and TV movies featuring “Jack the Ripper” as a character out of context HERE. Non fiction accounts of the Whitechapel Murders are listed in our documentaries section HERE.

These films run the whole gamut of genres from drama, mystery and thriller to horror, science fiction and fantasy... somewhat unbelievably there are also some comedies and even a couple that might be considered romance or erotica. We've purposely missed out a few that are essentially just porn-movies because we feel their inclusion would be inappropriate. If you have a problem with this, well... you can make your own list can't you.

You can read our reviews (coming soon) connected to this list with absolute confidence - this is a NO SPLOILER zone!
